Ashwini Bhave


Ashwini Bhave (born 7 May 1972) is an Indian actress from Maharashtra. She works in both Hindi & Marathi films and television serials.
==Career==
Bhave was first noticed on television in a Hindi Sci-Fi serial ''Antariksh''. She later acted as the lead heroine in Marathi super-hit movies such as ''Dhadakebaaz'', ''Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi'' and ''Kalat Nakalat'' opposite top Marathi movie stars like Laxmikant Berde, Ashok Saraf, Sachin and Vikram Gokhale.
In 1991 at the peak of her stardom in the Marathi film industry, Bhave made her Bollywood debut when she was cast opposite Rishi Kapoor in the Hindi movie Henna directed by Randhir Kapoor under the RK Films banner. Subsequently she starred in other Hindi movies such as ''Meera Ka Mohan'', ''Honeymoon'', ''Sainik'' and ''Bandhan''. Bhave again switched over to television and Marathi movies. In 1993, she acted in the Kannada blockbuster hit film Vishnu-Vijaya directed by Keshu starring South Indian Super Star Dr.Vishnuvardhan, Akshay Kumar(her co-star in Sainik), Ashutosh Rana and others.〔http://www.ibollytv.com/movies/e6898bfa/vishnu-vijaya-1993-kannada-movie-watch.html〕〔http://www.onlinewatchmovies.tv/kannada/vishnu-vijaya-1993-kannada-movie-watch-online.html〕 In 1997 she acted in V. Bhave also played the lead role in a famous Marathi stage play ''Lagnachi Bedi'' (The Handcuffs of Marriage). In 1993, she played the character of a mother to Saif Ali Khan in the Yash Chopra movie ''Parampara''. She later acted in a television mega-serial ''Yugpurush''.
